The Ghost in the Machine This image was taken with a Sony TRV890 in a BackScatter (Light and Motion Industries) underwater housing, off the coast of Sabang Village, Mindoro Island, Phillipines, in about 10-15 meter depth. The author notes that "Illumination was poor and the image is taken from a motion picture (720x570) DV camera, rather than from a still camera. This can clearly be noticed at the edges of the eyes of the mantis shrimp." |
