Trials of Life: Fighting
Film depicts intraspecific fighting among different animals, including pistol and mantis shrimps. The mantis shrimp segment includes a fight between a female guarding her eggs, and an intruding male, who uses his powerful raptorial appendages to oust her from her home cavity. It also features two males as they court and try to mate with females, with two very different results.
